Lucas Sim Forbes
Lucas (German, Irish Danish, Dutch) is derived from Lucius – (Latin) Light; bringer of light.
Both Scott and I love this name and while I may never give in to the nickname Luke, we are excited for the arrival of our little boy, Lucas Sim Forbes.

Matt and I were just talking about how cool it would be to have our (nonexistent) child’s middle name be my maiden name. Do you think you’ll do that for all your kids? I like that idea. I can’t wait to meet Lucas!

Can you imagine if I gave my children my maiden name for a middle name? That’s practically child abuse.
I like LSF – it’s a great name. (my mom also wants you to know you have her approval – if that matters)
