Ness And Co

Back again

Awhile back I started experiencing issues with my website unable to load pictures for some unknown reason and once that started I have had a really difficult time motivating myself to post. Pictures are a quick and easy way for me to update my site without spending a lot of time.  Spare time has been a rare thing these days and I often find it difficult to capture my thoughts in just a few minutes.  Needless to say, I am going to pick back up because I love my blog. I love even the few minutes or pictures that I can post. I love being able to look back at my children and recollect on the different stages of their lives.  Scott is looking into the problems with uploading pictures and until then I will just try to write my updates down.

Recent updates:

Lucas has grown 2 inches in what I believe is 3 weeks. He is more then half my height and sometimes I look at him and can’t believe how he has grown and his amazing development. He loves looking of pictures of him as a baby and is fascinated with his new baby cousin Karley. He daily asks to go over to Cameron’s house and see Cameron which is very adorable and I hope his close relationship with his cousin continues. He also is constantly talking about his other family members and I love that he is so aware of the love from his extended family even when he doesn’t see my side as often as I would like.  This afternoon he came down from his room (naptime without the nap) telling me that he was sad cause he missed Gram, Grandpa Frank, Miles, Aunt Kait, Uncle Ian, Aunt Emily and Uncle Josh.  His ability to remember names is pretty awesome.

At this moment, Lucas is obsessed with the VeggieTales Easter movie that involves a giant robot bunny names Gary who sings and dances in a musical called Up With Bunnies. It is awesome to watch Lucas as he acts out (with bunny ears), sings and dances as Gary while watching the movie. Oh and he doesn’t want to watch the whole movie, just the last 20 minutes involving the actual musical number. I wish I could get him on video and one day maybe he will let me sneak in the video camera but for now he is actively avoiding the camera so we will have to wait and see.

Lily is almost 15 months and she continues to amaze us with her movement and on the go personality. She is rarely sitting and will try to stand up in her highchair while eating. She gave Scott a scare the other night. Dinner was over and Lily was just finishing up. I was upstairs running her a bath because she is the messiest eater of all time and Lucas was in the family room playing. Scott had to step into the family room for a few minutes and when he came back to the table he found Lily had gotten up from her high chair and climbed on to the table where she was sitting and eating the rest of her dinner. So apparently she was still hungry and not about to sit still when she could get her own food.
