An Afternoon at the Park
Scott and his mom and dad took Lucas to the park this afternoon and let me have a much needed break. Being a little sick with a cold, I slept the afternoon away but my beautiful little man was trying out the swing set. Here is one of the pictures that Scott took with his phone.

What a great picture! He has such a sparkle in his eye. He is looking more like his Dad everyday right down to the bare feet!

For anyone who doesn’t know. When Vanessa was a kid all the way through her teen years she used to spend HOURS on a swing with her walkman (haha, cassette tapes of the cranberries and KNOTB I bet). So Lucas being on a swing is significant at least for us Sims.

It’s also significant because of all the time I spent on the swing listening to Roger and the Buds

That’s funny because all the time I was on the swings I was listening to Pipper and The Biz!

What you may not know is that before I had a Walkman, I would strap a full-size cassette player to the swing and blast whatever it was I was listening to at the time all the while singing at the top of my lungs. Our poor neighbors…
