Ness And Co

Day # 130

Inspired by Aunt Kathleen:

2:21 am – Starving.  I haven’t eaten in nearly 4 hours.  I sweetly call for my mother by screaming as loud as I can.  She arrives after 2 excruciating minutes and nourishes me.  I am not sure why but her eyes are closed the whole time…

4:45 am – I wake up suddenly and realize I am no longer nursing.  What foul magic is this?  Where is my mom?  I call for her and she comes to nourish me yet again.  Ahh to sleep…

6:30 am – I am awoken by an intense pressure in my tummy.  I push until I feel relief.  Hmm… there appears to be a less then pleasant odor in my room.  Mommy!  Daddy!  Someone help!  My father arrives and brings me downstairs where mom feeds me yet again.

8:00 am – Mom forces me to go shopping with her.  Apparently, I am in need of new clothes.  I don’t know why I can’t just be naked all the time.   It seems that Babies-R-Us is closed until 9:30 so I am granted a reprieve for now.

8:30 am – I am forced to entertain myself for a few minutes while my mom takes a shower and gets ready for the day.  The loneliness of these 8 minutes is nearly unbearable.

9:30 am – I fall asleep in mom’s arms for my mid-morning nap in a vain attempt to put off the inevitable shopping trip.

10:15 am – I can’t ignore my hunger anymore.  Store or no store, I must eat.

11:00 am – In the car on our way to the store.  In my frustration at having to go shopping, I poop loudly just before we arrive.  Mom turns the car around to take me home and change me.  I MUST remember this priceless lesson in the future.

11:15 am – Mom changes my diaper and onesie, both casualties of the morning.  My freedom from clothes is short lived, however, and we are back in the car headed to the store yet again.  My mother must be determined to get me new clothes.

1:00 pm – Mom and I hang out in the kitchen as she makes herself lunch.  Unconcerned with her desire to eat, my eyes are feeling heavy and all I want is to be held.  She holds and rocks me…

2:00 pm –  Dad arrives home early as I am enjoying my mid-afternoon snack.

2:45 pm – I impress Dad with my newly discovered ability to roll from my back to my side.  In celebration, I super poop while he is holding me.  Mom, Dad, and I all laugh.

3:30 pm – Mom reads me Aunt Kathleen’s blog post about her day yesterday, and I am inspired to share my day so far.
