Sweetest Sound

While Saturday night Lucas proved he can sleep through the night (12 – 7), the past few nights he has woken up every 2 hours to nurse.  This, of course, is expected during the first few weeks of life but after a while you get use to sleeping a little bit more and these past few nights have been very hard on both Scott and I.

During these sleepless nights, the Lord gave us the most beautiful sound.  Lucas giggled last night.  It was around 9:30 pm and he was falling off to sleep while nursing and he gave a full bodied giggle.  His whole tummy just started to jiggle and he let out a beautiful, long giggle and smile.  I am so grateful that Scott was right next to me to hear this beautiful sound.
