Prayer Request

I have hesitated writing such a personal prayer request in my blog but with it weighing me down, I realized that I need the prayers of my fellow believers to help me along the way.

A little over a month ago, I noticed a lump in my breast. Now since I am breastfeeding I wasn’t too concerned – thinking that it was probably a blocked milk duct. Well when the lump didn’t go away after a few weeks I decided to schedule a doctor’s appointment just to make sure everything was okay. I met with the doctor earlier this week and she recommended an ultrasound. So now I have an appointment for October 2nd to have an ultrasound.

While there are many non-cancerous things that this lump may be, breast cancer runs in my family so I am feeling overwhelmed, scared and annoyed that I can’t just get this ultrasound over and done with right now.

So with all the said, please specifically pray that the Lord will give me his peace in this.

    I will put a penny in my shoe. I love you and will be praying. I put the prayer request on a prayer request website (no names). I really like the idea of having the “faith of a child” like when kids pray and ask god for something of course they expect that it will be done… So I will pray with the faith of a child that God will answer our prayers.
