Lily at 18 Months

Lily is continuing to grow and amaze us with her new interests. She is a persistent little girl and will continue to try something until she gets it. She is weighing in at 24.4 lbs and is 32 1/2 inches tall. She is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. She continues to have weeks of throwing up every day so we have an appointment with a Pediatric GI doctor but thankful she is still gaining weight and is healthy so overall we are not too concerned.

Due to my persistent migraines, I am in the process of weaning her and so far so good. On Friday she nursed three times (one morning, one afternoon and one evening) and on Saturday she nursed just once in the evening. Tonight she nursed just once in the evening and I shortened it to help slow down my milk supply. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have her completely weaned and I can consult with my neurologist as to the next course of action.
