Lily at 12 months

At 12 months Lily has become a quick walking and babbling little girl.  She weighs in at 21.5 lbs and 29 5/8th inches tall.  She actually lost weight from her 9 month appt but her pediatrician isn’t worried so I am not going to think too much about it.  The whole family came down with colds on Thanksgiving and Lily has been on again off again sick since then.

Thankfully her congestion has cleared up recently and we are hoping we are past the winter colds.

Lily is particular about what she does and doesn’t want to eat. Anything she doesn’t want to eat gets thrown to the floor almost immediately.  Anything she wants to eat also gets thrown on the floor but in between bites.  We knew that Lucas was a particularly neat and orderly eater but we never fully understood that until Lily. She goes through 2 to 3 outfits a day simply because she won’t keep a bib on and she just likes to make a mess when she eats.  She certainly keeps life interesting.

We were all super excited to sing Happy Birthday to Lily and she was so excited when we came in with a Veggie Tales candle singing to her.  Soon I will upload a video which captures just a few seconds of the beautiful smile she gives us every day.
