9 months and crawling

For the past few weeks now, Lucas has been really creeping his way across rooms in the house. He gets up on all fours but fish flops to where he wants to go. Well on his 9 month mark, he surprised us all by not only crawling but also by moving into a sitting position from lying down. It has been awesome to watch and encourage as Lucas explores new things around him while on the go.

Oh and the cats are finding it interesting too.  One of our favorite games is to chase the cats around the family room. Thankfully the cats seem to enjoy Lucas and allow him this pleasure (well at least until he starts laughing loudly and scaring them off).
