Hardest night ever…

Well folks this is it, the hardest night ever for me as a mom. We are letting Lucas “cry it out” in his crib tonight. I am going upstairs to the nursery every five or so minutes to comfort him by talking in a calming and soothing voice but we need him to learn that we can’t rock and nurse him to sleep every time he wakes up. I am writing this almost as a need to justify the torture that this is putting me through (as he will not even remember the terrible night tomorrow morning).

Lord give me your wisdom and strength.
