Update on Prayer Request

Just wanted to update everyone on my ultrasound. Well, while I am VERY thankful that the mass in my breast was not immediately identified as a tumor I am still feeling a little frustrated and annoyed. Both the ultrasound technician and radiologist could feel the lump but could not get a clear enough picture of it on the ultrasound. This may be due to the fact that I am breastfeeding. So at the end of the smash and mash, the doctor states that under these circumstances they would usually order a mammogram but they can’t do so because I am breastfeeding so I should keep an eye on the lump and come back for another ultrasound in 6 months. 6 months….

I know that I need to continue praying and be thankful that there is no immediate concern. I just wish that I could have been given a more definitive answer on what this lump is.
