The countdown begins…

My apologies for taking so long to update the site.  I must admit that I have been having a more difficult time emotionally and physically then I would have liked.  Our little boy is doing fine and growing well (and man can I feel him kick and move around).  I found out on Thursday that my iron count has dropped so I am now taking iron supplements which will hopefully boost my energy level back up to normal. I am also not sleeping well – for some reason my body really wants to sleep during the day but not at night.  This makes it tough to function at work during the day. Hopefully, this won’t last too long and I will be able to get back in my normal sleeping pattern.

On the upside of things, I have officially begun my countdown for the arrival of our little one.  I am now in my 29th week of pregnancy and have less than 12 weeks to go.  Our nursery furniture will be arriving this Friday and I am super excited to see it and to start putting the nurery together.

I also need to post some wonderful pictures from my baby shower in PA.  I had an amazing time and it was so good to see everyone and to catch up.  My trips up north never seem long enough but hopefully when the baby arrives I will be able to make more frequent trips up north.
